Ecuadorians in Ireland
How to Study and Work in Ireland as an Ecuadorian
Ireland lets you earn and save in euros while studying English full time. For Ecuadorians, that combination is one of the most direct routes to a stable European life.
Before you travel
Ecuadorians need a visa before arriving in Ireland
Visa required before travelEcuadorian passport holders must obtain a long-stay study visa (Visa D) before travelling to Ireland. This visa is submitted to the Irish Embassy responsible for Ecuador — verify the current designated office at dfa.ie. Start the process at least 3 months before your intended travel date to allow time for processing.
Where to apply
Find the Irish Embassy responsible for Ecuador at dfa.ie
Ecuador is served by a regional Irish Embassy. Before submitting your application, confirm at dfa.ie which office handles Ecuadorian applications. Submitting to the wrong office will delay your process. Once confirmed, your documents are submitted there and your passport is returned to that office.
Always verify the current designated Irish Embassy for Ecuador at dfa.ie before preparing your application. Procedures and assigned offices can change.
