Study and work in Ireland

Argentinians in Ireland

How to Study and Work in Ireland as an Argentinian

Stamp 2 gives you legal work rights while you study English. For Argentinians, it also means a stable Euro income at a time when that matters most.

Before you travel

Argentinians do not need a visa to enter Ireland

No visa required

For the Stamp 2 Study & Work program, Argentinian passport holders do not need to apply for a visa before travelling. You can fly to Ireland with your school documents and register for your permission after you arrive. Note: The Working Holiday Authorization is a separate process that does require an application before travel.

On Arrival

You register in Ireland, not at the Embassy

Because you do not need a visa, you do not need to visit the Irish Embassy in Buenos Aires for the Stamp 2 program. Instead, you will travel to Ireland and present your documents at the border. Later, you will register with immigration (GNIB/ISD) in Dublin or your local area to get your IRP card.

The Embassy in Buenos Aires handles Working Holiday applications, but Stamp 2 students go directly to Ireland.
